How will Barcelona line-up for their Clasico clash against Real Madrid?

Barcelona’s fortunes, as far as the league table is concerned, have turned in the past few weeks. They went from being three points back of Real Madrid to now leading by two heading into the second Clasico of the season.

Coming off an uninspiring draw against Napoli in the Champions League, the Catalans find themselves in a decent position for their second crucial match of the week.

More from Everything Barca

Manager Quique Setién released the squad list for the match with Alex Collado and Ansu Fati the only players from Barça B to be included.

Also included, surprisingly, was Jordi Alba. The left-back received the medical despite early prognosis being he would be out a month following an injury in the match against Getafe.

As mentioned, Barcelona are two points ahead of Real Madrid in the table meaning the onus is on Real Madrid.

But a win is always demanded of Barcelona in this match and a win would also increase their lead to five points creating a significant gap between the two sides.

In their previous match at the Camp Nou, Madrid were demonstrably the better team but that was a different time.

Ernesto Valverde was the Barcelona manager and Madrid had momentum having strung a run of good performances. This time around, Setién is in charge and Zinedine Zidane’s side haven’t won in three straight which includes their Champions League loss against Manchester City.

All that being said, the only question now is which line-up Setién will feature and will he stick with the 4-4-3.
