Real Madrid and Barcelona have shown a deep interest in signing Valencia’s sensational forward whose contract runs out in the summer of 2021.

Both the Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona aim to sign the world’s best players, and, on some occasions, both the clubs must compete to sign a player that is wanted by both. This could be the case in the next few months when the summer transfer window opens as both the teams target to sign Valencia’s forward.

More from Everything Barca

The target is the young Spaniard Ferran Torres who has had his breakthrough season this year with Valencia after finding the net 4 times and setting up 4 assists for his teammates in the La Liga Santander. The teenager’s contract with Valencia runs out in the summer of 2021 and the Spanish forward has no intention of renewing his contract, according to Don Balon.

If the Los Ches does not sell the player next summer, then the player is open to negotiating with the clubs he wants from January 1st of 2021 as a free transfer.

The Blaugrana and the Los Blancos since time immemorial have been competing to sign the same players, although both the clubs also have signed a non-aggression pact which both the teams respect.

However, there certainly doubt that both the club’s respect the non-aggression pact as Barcelona had initially initiated contact with Luka Jovic before Real Madrid swopped the player off the Camp Nou and brought him straight to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Barcelona will certainly not forgive Real Madrid that easily and will seek their revenge on Sunday evening at the Bernabeu. The game will be a key fixture for both the teams and the team that clinches 3 points will come out as serious contenders for the La Liga Santander.
