Pep Guardiola has agreed to help Barcelona for their upcoming El Clasico after having a brief meeting with Setien and Sarabia at the hotel in Madrid.

Every football fan around the world has nothing but sympathy towards the great Pep Guardiola. The Manchester City manager has lost out on the Premier League as Liverpool are miles ahead of them and the Citizens now face the brunt from the UEFA Financial fair play that has sanctioned Guardiola’s team a two-year ban from all European competitions.

More from Everything Barca

Kevin De Bruyne’s master class against Real Madrid helped Manchester City secure an important away win with 2 goals to the good. The win against the Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu was a moment of relief for Pep Guardiola against all his accumulated situations.

The important win against Real Madrid could also benefit the future of Barcelona for good. After the game, Quique Setien and Eder Sarabia visited Guardiola at the team hotel to congratulate him on the teams’ victory, according to Don Balon.

Both the coaches believe in the Johan Cruyff philosophy of possession and apart from their common managerial beliefs both the managers get on very well outside the pitch as well.

Quique Setien took the opportunity to refine his strategy with the help of Guardiola that he will use in his first-ever El Clasico that will be held at the Santiago Bernabeu. The El Clasico on Sunday can mark a turning point in the conquest of La Liga if either of the team clinches 3 points.

Setien will try to repeat Pep’s tactics at the Bernabeu, however, times now are different and it is unsure whether those same tactics in the early 2010s would still work. The former Real Betis manager also has a limited squad to chose from as well.

Every Barca fan would wish that the meeting between Guardiola and Setien can be put to good use and help the Blaugrana clinch three points in the most awaited fixture of the world.
