Jose Mourinho wants Barcelona ace at Tottenham Hotspur next season

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is insistent on landing on the main Barcelona players into north London during the summer’s transfer window.

In the past few months, Barcelona has been under tremendous pressure and turmoil from within the club and the fans itself. The Blaugrana’s thought that a win against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu would calm their troubled water as they would be a step closer towards winning their 27th La Liga title.

However, hell broke loose when Toni Kroos played in a sensational through ball for Vinicius Junior who scored the opener for the Los Blancos. Real Madrid clinched three points after Mariano Diaz settled the game with a near-post shot that went past the German keeper.

Barcelona struggled to transition their attack from the fullbacks as Jordi Alba was seen limping and Nelson Semedo was strong in defence but was casual when he went up the flank.  Jordi Alba and Nelson Semedo after playing 90 minutes were given a rating of 6.1 and 6.9 respectively.

Barca paid around 35 million euros two summers ago for the Portuguese right-back who was a promising player at Benfica. The former Benfica player has not yet found his spark that he once had at the Portuguese top-flight division.

Tottenham had tried signing the right-back last season, but Barca turned down their transfer offer as they still had faith in the player’s potential to grow.

Spur’s new Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho has offered Barcelona 45 million euros for the young right-back, according to Don Balon. Barca has considered the offer and it all about the player to join his fellow Portuguese manager at the Premier League.

The decision will be taken before the season ends and the player’s future will be decided long before the Euro 2020 so that he can remain focused for the defending champions.
