Barcelona eye their possible galactic signing from the Premier League
Barcelona plans on signing the Premier League’s fastest striker to bolster their weak attack.
Barcelona this season has been in a state of disarray and the loss against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu was the nail in the coffin for the Catalan club. The Blaugrana were dominated by Zidane’s men throughout the game and the team had no motivation to put on a classic fight against the Los Blancos.

The current atmosphere at the club would be that of a feeling of disappointment, sadness, and bitterness. Barcelona’s players have candidly expressed their disappointment towards the board, Luis Suarez recently stated that he begged for a new young striker to the board.
Barca’s captain Lionel Messi also spoke about how he felt let down when Ernesto Valverde was sacked due to the team’s poor performance, Messi believed in Valverde and felt that the board was a little too harsh on him as the decisive loses for his sacking were the player’s fault and not Valveredes, while on interview with Mundo Deportivo.
Nothing has changed much since the arrival of Quique Setien after Ernesto Valverde was sacked in March. Unfortunately, the situation has worsened as Barca may go trophyless this season and several figures at the club are already calling for the resignation of the president, Josep Maria Bartomeu.
Josep Maria Bartomeu resists leaving his position as he plans on convincing the board by signing a world-class striker from the Premier League. The world-class striker is Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, an elite striker with immense pace to take on defences and find the net, according to Don Balon.
The Gunner’s striker’s contract comes to a close in 2021 and the Gabonese international has no intention of renewing it as of yet. The Arsenal board is willing to let Aubameyang go for a sum of 60 million euros rather than losing the player for free when his contract ends.
But some directors at the club are against the signing Borussia Dortmund player. The directors at the club feel that the player’s age could be an issue as a replacement for Luis Suarez.
Another possible reason could be that Aubameyang was once a Real Madrid target and the player also stated that he would love to play at the Santiago Bernabeu in the future.
