Barcelona has the opportunity to sign a former Real Madrid target from the Premier League as a replacement for Luis Suarez.

The pacey striker believes that he still has a few peaky years left in him despite his age and that Barcelona would be an ideal destination for his final years.

The 2018/19 Golden Boot winner decided to join the Gunners after he was offered a decent salary and the English club promised the player a winning team that would compete for all titles along with Champions League football every season. It is quite obvious that Arsenal has failed in delivering all their promises, which has led to immense frustration for the Gabonese international.

Aubameyang has made it very clear that he will not renew his contract that is set to expire in the summer of 2021. If the Premier League club does want to recover their investment 70 million euro investment, then selling him this summer would be ideal. Otherwise, it is very much possible that the player may join another club on a free transfer.

The former Borussia Dortmund star can still offer a lot in the attack and would be an ideal replacement for the veteran Luis Suarez. If Barcelona fails to sign Lautaro Martinez then, President Josep Maria Bartomeu may consider signing Aubameyang instead.

However, Josep Maria Bartomeu does not look at the possible move with bad eyes as he believes that this potential move can reinforce their slack attack.
