Barcelona considers signing three world-class players irrespective of Quique Setiens opinion.
Quique Setien’s tenure at Barcelona so far has been filled with injuries and lack of consistency shown by the players. The former Real Betis manager is well aware that if his team does not improve their results then he would be shown the door. A well-planned summer transfer market overhaul would definitely help in strengthening and adding depth to the injury-stricken squad.

The Cantabrian has the right to decide on the departures and the arrivals during the upcoming summer transfer window and the Barca board has already warned him that three signings will be made irrespective of his opinion.
Don Balon claims that the first signing would be that of a right-back since Nelson Semedo and Sergio Roberto have failed to convince their new coach, according to Don Balon. The Blaugrana consider signing Bayern Munich’s versatile star Joshua Kimmich, who would also cost the club a lot of money as the Bavarian’s would not want to lose their future captain.
Arsenal’s young sensation Hector Bellerin is also considered as a potential alternative, however, his long list of injuries makes him an unlikely candidate. The other cheaper alternatives could also be Ander Capa or Emerson Royal. The board of Barca has made it clear that there will be a new player on the right flank of the field irrespective of whatever circumstances may come.
The Blaugrana board has named two more players to bolster the attack. The first candidate is Barca’s long lost prodigy, Neymar Junior. The Parisian based winger has been wanting to return to the Camp Nou ever since he left the club in 2017 and Leo Messi insisted last summer that Neymar must be brought back at any cost. However, the club failed to sign their former player and they now hope to make room for him on the flank by selling Ousmane Dembele who has been nothing short of a disaster for the club.
The other signing that the board has prepared is San Siro’s new hero Lautaro Martinez, who is also considered as a perfect signing by Luis Suarez who now enters the twilight years of his trophy-laden career. The Catalan club would have to pay 110 million euros to trigger the in-form 22-year-old Argentine striker.
To pull this entire operation off the Barcelona board would have to generate revenue by showing a few players the door. The club could consider selling Junior Firpo, Samuel Umtiti, Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.
