Barcelona consider signing Atletico Madrid’s irreplaceable midfielder next season due to the inconsistency shown by the current midfield

Barcelona currently faces a midfield crisis as Sergio Busquets, Arthur Melo and Frenkie De Jong have all performed below their standards this season. Arthur Melo lacks sheer discipline that is required to be a footballer as he is often spotted partying with former Barcelona winger Neymar Junior in the city of Paris. The Brazilian midfielder has already received an ultimatum for the club officials to improve his lifestyle and matchday conditioning or else he would be sold next season.

Diego Pablo Simeone considers the player as an irreplaceable gem because of his style of play. The 25-year-old midfielder can play in the central role and on the flanks due to his impressive technical skill on the ball along with his exceptional passing skills. Wherever the Spanish international is fielded the decision is always paid off well.

Although Saul is just 25-years-old, the Spaniard is well experienced in the Spanish top flight with over 250 appearances for Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano combined.
