Barcelona set to beat Real Madrid to sign the next Neymar
Barcelona shortlist the next Neymar Junior from the Brazilian League and they plan to sign the player once he is ready for Europe
Barcelona must learn from Real Madrid who has changed its philosophy of only signing Galactic players to investing in future talent. Florentino Perez seems to consider Brazil as a grassroots foundation that nurtures and develops future superstars.

Real Madrid has heavily invested in signing young Brazilian talents such as Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes and Reinier Jesus Carvalho who is currently playing at Real Madrid Castilla.
Although Vinicius Junior has settled well and has even scored his first El Clasico goal at the Santiago Bernabeu after near post shot that deflected off Gerard Pique. Even if the Brazilian does flop in the coming years, Real Madrid can still make money off him unlike Barca with their signings.
The Barcelona management committee has made foolish decisions over the past few seasons. The amount of money that the Catalan club has invested over the recent years in exuberant and the return on investment is almost nothing unlike their arch-rivals Real Madrid who have had a great return on investment on most of their signings so far.
Philippe Coutinho is the club’s record signing who was sent on loan after just one season and now the club does not even want him back, Malcom was another talent that was wasted on the bench only to be sold the next season, Ousmane Dembele has had an insignificant spell at the club as he has spent most of his time on the sidelines. The long list of failed transfers never seems to end at Barca and now the club considers changing their philosophy.
Don Balon claims that the Blaugrana received a phone call from Sao Paolo to scout a young talent who is rising amongst the ranks at the Brazilian club. The player that Barcelona considers signing is Gustavo Maia who is considered as the next Vinicius Junior.
The 22-year old made his first-team debut this season with the Brazilian club as he looks forward to securing a starting eleven spot. The Brazilian is fast and has the skill to take on defenders using both his feet comfortably.
Josep Maria Bartomeu and his team plan on letting the player progress in Brazil and in the near the future they would sign the player just like they did with Neymar Junior.
The Brazilian club claim that in two years their player would be primed and ready to take on Europe with Barcelona. The Blaugrana now has a new ray of hope and they must sign the player as soon as possible before his market value shoots up.
