Neymar lures Barcelona target into signing for Paris Saint-Germain
Barcelona’s long-term target may snub the Catalan club for Paris Saint-Germain because of Neymar’s convincing powers.
Barcelona had shown a deep interest in signing Chelsea’s Brazilian winger Willian Borges for the past few seasons. A few years ago, the Blaugrana board offered 30 million euros to the Stamford Bridge to sign their talismanic Brazilian. Although Willian dreamt of wearing the renowned Barcelona jersey and to play alongside Lionel Messi, Chelsea rejected the offer as they deemed their winger to be a crucial player for the coming seasons.

Frank Lampard has an important summer transfer window coming up, former Barca legend Pedro and Willian Borges would be departing the Stamford Bridge soon as their contracts run out in June. The former Derby coach would have to invest in a right-winger next season as he would lose two experienced wingers, although Mason Mount could take over as a regular starter, his lack of experience might be an issue.
Although Willian dreams of wearing the Barca jersey, Lionel Messi has already debunked the move as the player will be turning 32 soon. The Catalan captain suggested the board to give more opportunities to Ansu Fati, who seems to have been forgotten by the former Betico man.
Willian could be left stranded next season in no man’s land, as most of the top-flight club’s already have their attacking front three ready, maybe it is time for the Brazilian to downsize to a smaller club.
However, Neymar Junior has invited his Brazilian teammate to Paris Saint Germain, as the Parisian club plan on offloading Edison Cavani and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, according to Don Balon.
The Catalan club can write off Willian from their agenda for next season as he prepares to join Neymar at PSG
