Barcelona has prepared to sign another star player next season along with Neymar Junior from Paris Saint-Germain

Barcelona has given it their all and continues to do so to bring back their prodigal son Neymar Junior from Paris Saint-Germain. The operation to bring the Brazilian back is tremendously complicated and in the rare turn of events, if Barca does manage to resign Neymar, it would be the signing of the new decade for the Catalan club.

However, the return seems unlikely as the Blaugrana have used all their ammunition to sign the player, the club has offered Antoine Griezmannm Philippe Coutinho and even Ousmane Dembele as potential swap deal offer for Neymar. Apart from the exuberant fee that the Parisian club would demand for their star, the Brazilians salary, commissions, bonuses, and his agent’s demand has probably ruled out the move.

Josep Maria Bartomeu has also considered signing Lautaro Martinez and is prepared to offer cash along with Arturo Vidal for the San Siro’s new hero. The officials at the club have also considered loading off Rakitic, Vidal and Samuel Umtiti next season to generate enough revenue for the transfer market. If the club does sell Samuel Umtiti next season, a replacement from Paris Saint-Germain has been prepared.

The player that the Catalan board considers as a future centre back for the club is Tanguy Kouassi, according to Don Balon. Tanguy Kouassi made a name for himself during the U17 World Cup, as he was one of the star performers in the French team. The young French talent can play as a central defender and can also act as a defensive pivot if needed due to his physical presence.

The 17-year old French defender stands 187 centimeters tall and is already compared to Kalidou Koulibaly for his raw strength, power and bravery. His rapid progression has earned him 13 games in the senior team and the defender has managed 3 goals and two assists so far. His stats for a defender and his age are quite impressive.

His contract with Paris-Saint Germain runs out towards the end of June and so far there has been no speculation about a contract renewal from either party. However, there is a long queue for the player, RB Leipzig, Napoli and Roma are seriously interested in contesting for the player.
