Marc-Andre Ter Stegen’s future at Barcelona takes a negative twist

Marc Andre Ter Stegen feels undervalued at Barcelona and is motivated to join the German champions, Bayern Munich in the upcoming transfer window unless his contract issues are resolved.

According to the Express, The Spanish giants admire and value the efforts of the 27-year old German international who has performed exceeding well over the last 6 seasons assisting the side in bringing 13 trophies back to the Camp Nou. Negotiations between Ter Stegen and Barcelona have come to a halt as the club has rejected the goalkeepers’ exorbitant demand of 15 million euros a year. The standstill of the contract negotiations has attracted numerous notable European clubs to show interest to sign the Germany international.

Bayern Munich has had Marc Andre Ter Stegen in their radar and has been in talks to bring the German international back to Allianz Arena in the next transfer window. The German giants have a history of possessing the finest German goalkeepers in their squad and plan to progress and follow the same path by signing the ex-Borussia Mönchengladbach player.

Being given an opportunity to play for the biggest club in one’s country is a dream of any international player and Ter Stegen isn’t likely to refuse the opportunity to do the same. A key attraction for the German international to sign for Hans-Dieter Flick squad is that most of the prominent German international players play in the Bundesliga. Playing for the German giants will help him build better chemistry with other players in his international squad which will intern help him perform better for his country.
