More from Everything Barca

The only possible option that Barcelona might consider is to selling Antoine Griezmann or Ousmane Dembele, both the French Internationals have a huge market, the only issue that lies is most football clubs around the world are in the same boat as Barca.

The first alternative that Barca considered was the Gabonese international Aubameyang. The Gunner’s board were prepared to let their star striker leave for the Camp Nou for a bargain. The only reason why the Catalans pulled out from the move because the  African striker always wanted to play in the Royal White Jersey and Real Madrid also decided to step in during that moment.

Don Balon claims that Josep Maria Bartomeu has activated the surprising signing operation and the suspected signing is Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid.

The Brazilian-Hispanic is wanted by Antonio Conte at the San Siro and by Roma as well. The Roman based club has attempted to sign the former Premier League striker on two occasions before and has failed each time. Bartomeu would have to fight off Roma if they want Diego Costa.

Many pundits would write the former Chelsea striker off, however, in the last few seasons he has pulled off a few great performances, a brace against Portugal in the World Cup and stunning performance to beat Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup final.
