Barcelona needs to find a replacement for injured Luis Suarez over the summer transfer window.

More from Everything Barca

In the 2018-2019 season, the Uruguayan centre forward played an integral role for Barcelona by scoring 21 goals and providing 6 assists. However, After playing in 17 La Liga games this season Luis Suarez picked up a long term knee injury which has put him on the side-line for the remainder of the season. Barcelona are eager to sign a long term replacement to fill the void of Luis Suarez.

Erling Haaland is a 19-year-old centre forward who plays for Dortmund. The Norwegian marksman has been one of the best strikers in the world this season and has managed to score 40 goals in 33 games. Many prominent European clubs such as Manchester United and Real Madrid have shown interest to sign Haaland over the next transfer window and it is believed price point of 65 Million euros should be enough to secure a transfer for the young superstar.

Barca must consider signing the former RB Salzburg striker and must in fact prioritize his arrival over that of Lautaro Martinez, who proves to be a rather costly option in relative comparison.

The Argentinean striker has done a very good job for Inter Milan this season and has managed to score 11 goals in 22 games in the Serie A this season. Even though the Spanish giants are keen on signing Martinez over the next transfer window, they will have financial problems as Neymar continues to be a priority for them going forward.

After leaving in 2017 the Brazil international hasn’t enjoyed his time in Paris and is adamant to reunite with Messi and Suarez at the Camp Nou. Barcelona are in a tough position and have to decide which player they should opt to sign in the next transfer window.

Do you think Haaland would be a good fit for Barca?
