The board of Barcelona has prepared to make another foolish signing, this time it is from Frank Lampard‘s Chelsea

Year after year Barcelona continue to be the laughing stock in the transfer market, the club either makes panic signings or sign players of no caliber and who are of no use to the club.

More from Everything Barca

Some of the hysterical signings and the flop signing that Barca has made over the years are Paulinho, Kevin Prince Boateng, Alex Song, Ousmane Dembele, Philippe Coutinho, Andre Gomes, Yerry Mina, Arda Turan, and the list goes on.

El Desmarque claims that Barcelona prepared to add another player to their list of flop signings. The Catalan club has considered signing Chelsea’s Brazilian legend Willian Borges.

It is true that a few years ago Barca had considered signing Willian Borges when Pedro had left for Chelsea as a backup for Lionel Messi on the right-wing. But that was almost 5 years ago and now the Brazilian will soon turn 32 in August.

However, Barcelona still considers signing the soon to be 32-year-old winger from Chelsea as a free agent as the player as the player’s contract runs out in June this year and Frank Lampard has shown no interest in renewing the Brazilians contract.

The Brazilian right-winger recently stated that his relationship with the Chelsea board is no longer the same. Willian had asked the board for a three-year extension but the board offered him a two-year extension instead. The player recently stated that anything can happen and that there is no confirmation yet as he will be available to negotiate with any team.

Barcelona certainly does not require the services of Willian, the acquisition of the player would be more of a liability rather than an asset instead. Josep Maria Bartomeu and his team should consider offering 100 million euros for Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund who could possibly be the natural heir to Lionel Messi’s position at the club.
