The Neymar Junior return to Barcelona operation has been hindered at the Camp Nou since Manchester United have shown interest in signing the former Barca winger.
As Barcelona continues to juggle several issues at the club, the Neymar return operation is still on and the management continues to find alternatives as to how to reduce the price tag for their former winger. Paris Saint-Germain has valued their star player at the same price they signed him for in 2017 for 222 million euros. Barcelona stands no chance to meet the demands set out by Nasser Al-Khelafi and Manchester United has decided to step in and make most out of the opportunity.
The English club is on its way to finding their old form once again, the addition of Bruno Fernandes has paid off well for the Red Devils and the board at the Red Devils consider the addition of the Brazilian would help them get back in track.
The Catalan club cannot afford the 222 million price tag nor can the afford to meet Neymar Junior’s weekly wage either. Meanwhile, Manchester United are ready to pay Paris Saint-Germain the desired figure and offer Neymar Junior a salary that would put him on par with Lionel Messi’s at Barca.
Although Neymar has created a lot of drama about wanting to return to Barcelona, the Parisian winger would think twice about leaving his hefty salary at PSG for a reduced salary at the Camp Nou. Manchester United’s offer seems promising to the Brazilian and everyone is well aware of the affinity that Neymar and his father share over money.
The current worldwide pandemic has already created enough tension at Barcelona and Manchester United’s interest in Neymar would pan out to be the nail in the coffin for Josep Maria Bartomeu’s future at the club as president.
