The president of Barcelona plans to win the hearts of the players and board members by signing four players next season that seems almost impossible.

The president of Barcelona is well aware that his future at the club is uncertain and that several members of the club have already called for an early election. Josep Maria Bartomeu is not an individual who would give in so easily to the demands of the other board members and the players, the President plans to brainwash all the members of the club by preparing four major signings for the upcoming summer, according to El Desmarque.

More from Everything Barca

The first player on this list is Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan, the president plans to sign the San Siro hero by offering Arturo Vidal in exchange along with 50-60 million euros. Antonio Conte has shown interest in signing his former Juventus pupil this season and the Barcelona president is prepared to part ways with Vidal for Lautaro Martinez in exchange.

The next player on the list is a midfielder that Barcelona desperately needs. Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal may be sold next season and with an inconsistent Arthur Melo and Frenkie de Jong, Barca desperately needs to reinforce their midfield. The president has considered signing either Fabian Ruiz from Napoli, who is also a prime target of Real Madrid or Tanguy Ndombele, who does not get along very well with Jose Mourinho.

The third player on the list is a defender since Gerard Pique will be turning 34 next season and Samuel Umtiti has left his true form back in Russia after the 2018 World Cup. Diego Carlos, Dayot Upamecano and Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte have been noted as prospective signings to reinforce the backline by the president.

The last signing that president hopes to pull off is that of a fairy tale, like Lionel Messi, Josep Maria Bartomeu also dreams about the possible return of Neymar to the Camp Nou from Paris Saint-Germain. Lionel Messi had even advised the board to offer Antoine Griezmann in a straight swap deal for Neymar, however, Manchester United have now shown interest in purchasing the French forward instead. Neymar might also be on his way to Old Trafford as the Red Devils are willing to meet his high wage demands, something that Barcelona can only dream of.

Although no one of the prospective signings seems possible given the current circumstances the club faces. Josep Maria Bartomeu is adamant about accomplishing this operation to win the hearts of the players and the board members at the club once again.
