Barcelona opens its door to a former Real Madrid midfielder who prefers to reallocate to Spain in the coming season.

Barcelona currently on the look to reinforce their midfield for the coming season of 2020/21. Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal are the two midfielders that might be sold next season and the club desperately need players to fill in the void in the midfield. Arthur Melo was given a lifeline by the board to improve his behaviour and lifestyle or else he would be shown the door as well.

Don Balon claims that former Real Madrid midfielder Angel Di Maria is searching for a new club and La Liga seems to be the ideal league that the Argentine midfielder wants to play in once again. Barcelona has opened their doors for Lionel Messi’s national teammate if he considers joining his countryman at the Camp Nou and betraying his former club.

The Argentine wants Spain to be his home country once again as he is tired of his time in Paris due to the instability that the team faces every season. The player can longer bear the brunt that the Parisian team faces each season when they get knocked out from the Champions League. Di Maria is also not happy with the way how he and his teammates are treated in Paris by the club officials.

Paris Saint Germain is prepared to bid their goodbye to Angel Di Maria and demand 25 million euros for the Argentine. Although Barcelona currently faces an economic crisis, 25 million euros would be an insignificant amount for the Catalan club.

Florentino Perez seems to be in shock that his former player has approached Barca and the president considers it to be treason. However, Angel di Maria’s career at the Santiago Bernabeu did not end on a happy note as the player felt that he was forced to exit the club.

Although Di Maria might be 32 years old, the Argentine has tons of experience as he has played for Benfica, Real Madrid, Manchester United and played a crucial role to take Argentina to the World Cup final in 2014.

The 32-year-old still has maybe a season or two under his belt. With a wicked left foot that can belt in curlers into the top corner and the ability to dribble past an entire defence, Di Maria might be the hero Barcelona need in their desperate time.
