Liverpool are eager to sign the French playmaker Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona over the summer transfer window.

More from Everything Barca

According to the Don Balon, Jurgen Klopp begets the capabilities to draw the best out of his squad in Liverpool. Several players such as Sadio Mane, Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino who were once perceived as mediocre have shocked the world by performing phenomenally on a consistent basis. Klopp believes that he can draw the best out of Barcelona’s winger Ousmane Dembele and is determined to lure the star away from the Camp Nou.

Ousmane Dembele is a 22-year-old French winger who took the world by storm by exhibiting signs of maturing into a world-class player at Borussia Dortmund and was signed by Barca for 125 million euros in 2017.

The winger has failed to perform to his optimum potential in Barcelona scoring only 19 goals in 74 matches across all competitions. This dreadful run of form has occurred due to a sequence of long term hamstring injuries.

The Spanish giants have identified Lautaro Martinez and Neymar as their primary transfer targets. Signing the duo is going to cost Barca a lot of financial strain and to add to the club’s monetary difficulties players such as Samuel Umtiti, Ivan Rakitic and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are set to leave the club in the upcoming transfer window, therefore,  finding replacements for these players is going to be an expensive proposition.

Quique Setien has listed the French superstar for 110 million euros in the upcoming transfer window.
