Arsenal forward Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has offered himself to Real Madrid to seek revenge from Barcelona for turning him down.

Every professional in this world someday dreams of putting on either the infamous white jersey of Real Madrid or the jersey of Barcelona at some point in the career. The La Liga is also considered as the world’s greatest league by many players and pundits around the world, although the general public would argue that the Premier League is the best league, the sheer dominance of Spanish teams in Europe speaks for itself.

More from Everything Barca

Like how every other player dream of being unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu or the Camp Nou and win the Champions League, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is one of those players who eagerly waits for his dream to come true.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have contested for the Arsenal forward since his Borussia Dortmund days, the striker was tipped to be the next galactico signing under Florentino  Perez but the African forward considered moving to the Emirates Stadium instead, in the winter transfer market of 2017/18.

However, the Gabonese international is desperate to leave the downtrodden English club for either of the Spanish Giants. Josep Maria Bartomeu is well aware that signing Neymar Junior or Lautaro Martinez would be an impossible task given the current economic crisis they face. Apart from the economic crisis, the club has several internal disputes amongst the board members and the players which have genuinely hampered the reputation of the club.

To make matters worse, the captain of the Catalan team has already vetoed the possible signing of the Arsenal forward, claiming that the player is already in his thirties and is too expensive.

And to add to the miseries of Barcelona, Don Balon claims that the former Bundesliga man has offered himself to Real Madrid to seek revenge after the Catalan club turned him down. However, Real Madrid did not sign the striker in the past and it does not seem like they will either.

In fact, Real Madrid has Luka Jovic, the 22-year-old has the potential to become the world’s best striker in the coming years and the Serbian still has 4 years left in his contract.
