Josep Maria Bartomeu and Quique Setien have an ugly fight and the future in Barcelona does not look very promising.

Barcelona is a powdered keg ready to explode at any time due to the animosity that prevails at the club. The board of the Catalan club has already fallen apart as six members have handed in their resignation along with a joint penned letter stating justifying their actions because of Josep Maria Bartomeu.

Josep Maria Bartomeu and his technical director Eric Abidal have been scrutinized over the past few months because of the poor decisions that the club has been making. Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique have already stepped aside from the current chaos, as the pair has lost all their patience over the current managed.

Apart from the players who have fallen out with the board, Quique Setien who was appointed only three months ago, now contemplates whether he made the right decision by a signing contract for such a poorly managed club.

Don Balon claims that the former Real Betis manager has criticized the board for letting several talents depart from the club before his arrival in January. Carles Perez, Moussa Wague, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Carles Alena left the club in January and in return, the club only signed Martin Braithwaite.

The squad anyway is an ageing way with several players past their prime and now the squad is also short on numbers to compete next season as the club is not doing well financially either.

Quique Setien felt down that the board let Carles Perez depart for Roma without consulting the manager, who thought he could make most of the young talent.

It is well known that Bartomeu is not an individual who givens in easily but the criticism he has received from the manager has not been taken well at all. It seems like the issues in Barcelona keep multiplying with every passing day.
