Barcelona is showing their outright half-witted side by offering as many as three players in addition to millions of euros for Neymar.
The Neymar transfer saga continues as Barcelona keep evaluating and offering different alternatives to Paris Saint-Germain for the return of Neymar Junior. Although the board had considered Lautaro Martinez and Neymar Junior to be their prime targets for the upcoming transfer market, it seems like Antonio Conte will not part ways with his Argentine that easily and Paris Saint-Germain are willing to let Neymar leave if Barcelona accepts their audacious swap deal offer.

Although, Barca desperately wants Neymar next season, as the player is a natural winger and the club has lacked a natural consistent winger ever since his departure, the issue for Quique Setien would be where to position the Brazilian. The forward line is clustered with world-class players including Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Ousmane Dembele, and their recent lucrative signing Antoine Griezmann.
A few weeks ago, Lionel Messi had demanded the Catalan board to offer Antoine Griezmann in a straight exchange swap deal for Neymar Junior, however, recently the Frenchman has won the captain’s heart and the captain himself asked the board to withdraw the offer.
To create space for Neymar Junior to work his magic for Barcelona, Don Balon claims that the Catalan club is ready to accept the audacious three-player swap deal that the Parisian club consider for in exchange for the Brazilian winger.
Paris Saint-Germain has demanded 130 million euros along with Ivan Rakitic, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Ousmane Dembele. The offer from PSG seems more like a win-win situation in their favour, as they would secure Jean-Clair Todibo who would be a long term replacement for Thiago Silva, Ivan Rakitic to further expand the midfield options and Ousmane Dembele to create a pacey duo with Kylian Mbappe.
PSG would also have a higher wage budget if Neymar does leave and a significant amount from Neymar’s share could be used for a lucrative contract renewal for Kylian Mbappe. The Parisian club’s priority as of now is to retain Kylian Mbappe at all costs, as Real Madrid are desperate to snatch the French sensation.
If Barcelona does accept the swap deal along with 130 million euros for Neymar Junior, it would be a massive loss for the Catalan club as they would need to sign three more replacements after losing out on 130 million euros.
However, given Barca’s current incompetent board, Paris Saint-Germain would definitely have the last laugh.
