Barcelona is ready to make its final offer for Lautaro Martinez as Inter Milan has grown impatient with the Catalan club’s prolonged interest.
Like every other football club in the world, Barcelona has been plagued by a financial crisis due to the current outbreak of COVID-19 globally. However, in spite of their circumstances, the Catalan club is still adamant on signing Neymar and Lautaro Martinez in the coming transfer window.

Inter Milan has made it very clear to all the suitors for their Argentinian striker, that they would not accept any figure below the 111 million release clause. The board at Barca is well aware that they lack the financial power to pay such a hefty for the Argentinian and also sign Neymar Junior who would cost nothing less than another 200 million euros.
Thus to counter Inter Milan’s offer, the Blaugrana have considered offering the Italian team a swap deal plus cash, according to Don Balon. Marc Cucurella, Samuel Umtiti, Jean-Claire Todibo, and Carles Alena are the players that Barcelona wants to offer in the exchange plus cash deal and Quique Setien has approved of the offer as well since has no plans of accommodating the mentioned players.
However, in the end, it is Inter Milan’s decisions on whether they would receive four players from Camp Nou who have no value and lose out on their striker or receive 111 million euros instead of other suitors and use that money for an alternative striker to partner with Romelu Lukaku.
This would probably be the Catalan team’s final offer for the Argentine striker as the Italian team has lost all their patience as they continue to stall other offers since the player has shown a distinct desire to sign for Barcelona.
Meanwhile, the Neymar transfer saga takes a new turn as Ivan Rakitic and Arthur Melo enter the list of non-transferable players. Philippe Coutinho has also been given another opportunity by Quique Setien and that leaves only Ousmane Dembele as a potential asset to be sold to generate the financial power to sign either of the two superstars.
With every passing day, the signing of either of the two superstars seems highly unlikely.
