Offensive players such as Lautaro Martinez and Neymar have been listed as the primary target for the Spanish giants in the upcoming transfer window. Barca has been planning to make key changes in their squad to bring these offensive signings to the Camp Nou.
There are rumours that Luis Suarez feels insecure about his future role at the Camp Nou. According to the Don Balon, The 33-year-old Uruguayan centre forward feels that if Barcelona manage to sign their primary transfer targets he might lose his place in the squad. To add to Suarez’s misery younger players such as Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele have no intention to leave the club over the next few transfer windows.
Luis Suarez has been on the radar of River Plate who play in the Argentinean League. River Plate has been scouting the transfer markets to sign a world-class striker in order to defeat their rivals Boca Juniors. River Plate have not submitted a transfer offer for Suarez as yet and have continued to pursue the Colombian superstar Radamel Falcao as their primary transfer target.
The former Liverpool striker might not want to join River Plate and might try to join another big club in Europe, as doing so will enable Suarez to play UEFA Champions League football in the last few years of his professional career.
Despite Luis Suarez being injured for since the last few months after undergoing a major surgery, the striker has an estimated value of around 50 million euros.
