_Neymar_ has been heavily linked to a return to the Camp Nou over the past year and half and the link seems to be getting stronger each time.

Barcelona and their links to Neymar have gathered the spotlight once again and they seem to be going stronger this time around. As per the Express, Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has come out with some positive words for the Parisian faithful as he believes that Neymar is there to stay at the Parc Des Princes.

The Brazil international’s ambitions of returning to Camp Nou came to the forefront when he told the sporting director Leonardo about him being unsettled in France’s capital and his desire to return to his former club.

Neymar has grown quite a lot in the past two years with the Brazilian even learning the will to play through injuries for the sake of his team. Neymar has evolved into a dependable forward and naturally Barcelona are looking to bring him back as Luis Suarez’s age is starting to get the better of him and Barcelona need some experience in the squad, without wear and tear.

The world’s most expensive arrived at the Parc des Princes back in 2017 and he hasn’t exactly been at his best since then apart from this one season. There have been numerous attempts made by the Blaugrana in the recent past to land their premier former winger but an agreement could not be reached on any occasion and that resulted in Neymar having to stay back at PSG.

However, the former Santos winger  has the power to force an exit from the club should he desire. Tuchel is of the opinion that Neymar is willing to stay at the club and that is quite surprising to be honest. This comes as a huge shocker given that Neymar’s desire to leave is pretty public but the former Borussia Dortmund manager’s confidence in his player’s loyalty does suggest that maybe something has changed at the club or in the winger’s heart. Not to forget, he has won over the fans as well. In a series of recent statements, Tuchel said:

"He works a lot, he is always there, he is very intelligent, controls the ball. He gave everyone the impression that he was there, that he took responsibility. It gives everyone a good impression: for me, the team, on the field, it’s great."

Barcelona are in need of a striker to replace Luis Suarez and a long-term replacement for Lionel Messi who will eventually leave the club one day. They are currently looking to close in Lautaro Martinez and of course, that will most likely include a player in the deal as well. It could well be Dembele either in exchange of Martinez plus cash or as a part of the Neymar deal. It’s to be seen if Barcelona do decide to act on their desire to bring back Neymar considering the fact that he’s 27 now and has probably has just another 4-5 years left in his prime.
