Marc-Andre ter Stegen receives two irresistible offers to leave Barcelona
Barcelona faces a serious issue that none of the board members would have expected as both the goalkeepers at the club now want out from the sinking football club.
Quique Setien in February had a 13 man squad, such as the lack of squad depth at Barcelona, the squad was plagued by injuries and several of the starting eleven players are already in their thirties which makes it a lot more difficult to recover soon. To make matters worse, apart from the aging squad and the lack of financial power for the upcoming summer market, both Ter Stegen and Neto Murrara want out from the club.

In the case of Marc-Andre ter Stegen, the German feels let down by the way the board values his efforts, the player believes that his salary at Barcelona does not justify the work he puts and that he deserves to be amongst the top five highest-paid players in the club. However, Lionel Messi has not accepted the goalkeeper’s revolting nature on a light note and the pair now share an ugly relationship.
The German international had received an offer from Paris Saint-Germain, the Parisian based club was willing to pay the goalkeeper 15 million euros a season that would make him the world’s best-paid player in his position. However, Ter Stegen has received two more offers from the Premier League, Chelsea, and Manchester United are the two English clubs that are willing to go head to head to procure the services of the German, according to Don Balon.
Frank Lampard has fallen out with his former first-choice goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. The former Chelsea player and the current manager is on the look for a world-class goalkeeper and Ter Stegen could be the ideal replacement. The Blues also have a strong transfer budget for the coming summer transfer market as their transfer ban has expired and last season they had sold 29-year-old Eden Hazard to Real Madrid for a reported sum of 100 million euros.
The report goes on to claim that Manchester United are not very happy with David De Gea, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer insists that the German of Barcelona would be the ideal replacement for the Spaniard.
Ter Stegen has won everything possible trophy with Barca and a new challenge would definitely be exciting for the German. In the case of Neto, the Brazilian feels dejected as he has played only one game in 8 months for the Catalan club and he would prefer a club that would provide him regular football.
Barcelona would be in a tough situation next season if both their goalkeepers leave, it could possibly hamper the Lautaro Martinez and Neymar Junior operation too.
