Barcelona have been on the hunt for a quality striker for long now. With not much to show in their war-chest, they are set to lose another high value target.

It is clear that cash surplus isn’t going to be Barcelona’s strength in the transfer market this time around and so one can expect them to offload some of their players as a part of part-exchange deals. Barcelona are in a desperate need of a quality and young striker who can replace Luis Suarez and prove to be a long-term option for the club. Moreno isn’t an ideal option considering this, but he still maintains a greater level of fitness as compared to the Uruguay international.

Suarez’s  form and consistency have been on the decline owing to his age and it’s an absolute no brainier that the Catalans are looking to replace him at the earliest. With their financial stocks having taken a hit, they need to act quick in proposing an exchange deal which might satisfy Valencia.
