Barcelona is in a tough situation after Marc Andre ter Stegen has received an offer from Juventus that he simply cannot turn down.

Barcelona is falling apart with every passing day, six board members have already resigned from their post due to the incompetence by Josep Maria Bartomeu, players are wanting to leave the club as they no longer believe that the club is heading in the right direction for their career, possible transfer targets are also snubbing the Catalan club as they consider more of a risk than a dream move.

The president is aware that his position has been compromised and the players have already demanded early elections, however, what worries Bartomeu the most is losing Lionel Messi’s confidence.

The Barca captain has grown tired over the current situation at the sinking club, apart from the possible departure and the hysterical signings that will soon happen in the coming transfer market, Lionel Messi has fallen out with the second-best player at Camp Nou.

The German international, Marc Andre Ter Stegen has fallen out with Messi and the board after he demanded a raise in his wage, in all honesty, the club is heavily underpaying the former Bundesliga man and the German goalkeeper has everything there is to win in Spain, so it would not be a surprise if “The Wall” of Catalonia considers moving to another top club outside Spain that would also pay him better than the Catalans are.

The board at Barcelona is uncertain about whether they should meet the demands set by Ter Stegen since the goalkeeper wants his wage to be around 18 million euros, a figure that could upset the already limited wage and transfer budget for the club in the transfer market.

Diaro GOL claims that the first choice goalkeeper of Barca has received an offer from Juventus, the Turin based team is willing to offer the German International the contract he demands, with the addition of Ter Stegen and a defensive partnership of Merih Demiral and Matthijs de Ligt, it would be a difficult task for the opponents to find the net when they face the Bianconeri.

Wojciech Szczesny is thirty years old and Gianluigi Buffon is 42 years old, the arrival of Ter Stegen might see Gianluigi Buffon leave his beloved club for good and the former Arsenal goalkeeper could become the second choice.

Barcelona would have to look for a replacement and the possible options would be to either make Neto the first choice goalkeeper or sign Unai Simon or Kepa Arrizabalga from Chelsea.
