Barcelona propose a peace treaty between Ter Stegen and Messi
Although Barcelona has added Marc Andre ter Stegen to the transfer list, the president has proposed a peace treaty to resolve the issues between the goalkeeper and Lionel Messi
The current situation at Barcelona takes a shape turn as Josep Maria Bartomeu has decided to calm the troubled waters at the training ground by offering a peace treaty between Lionel Messi and Marc-Andre ter Stegen since both the footballers are not only the most important members of the squad but have also bailed the club out of tight situations in matches on numerous occasions.

Ter Stegen had proven himself in his debut season with the Catalans that he deserves to be the first choice goalkeeper after his heroic performances in the Champions League that secured Barcelona their fifth Champions League title in 2015 in the city of Berlin.
Since then, the German international has stood tall in his position with acrobatic saves and inhuman reflexes to stop the ball from finding the net. However, unfortunately, the former Bundesliga man has clashed with the wrong ego at Barca, Lionel Messi.
The pair have had their share of issues in the past, however, this season the relationship between the two has worsened after the German goalkeeper created a ruckus for being heavily underpaid and undervalued.
Ter Stegen has been an immense figure at the club and still, unfortunately, is not on the top five best-paid players at the club after being their most important player alongside Leo Messi.
Josep Maria Bartomeu was told by the goalkeeper’s agent that the player deserves a raise in his salary or else he would leave in the coming summer since he has better prospective projects on the table to choose from including Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Juventus who are willing to make him the world’s highest-paid goalkeeper.
Lionel Messi has grown tired with the entire situation at the club and has conveyed a message to the board that he cannot tolerate the nuisance anymore at Barca and if Ter Stegen insists on leaving then let him do so.
However, the Catalan club cannot afford to lose either of the two individuals, although Ter Stegen has been put on the transfer list, Bartomeu has decided to offer a peace treaty between Lionel Messi and Ter Stegen to keep both the individuals together at the club, according to Diaro GOL
If either of the individuals rejects the proposal, then the Blaugrana are open to selling their goalkeeper for 100 million euros or more in the summer transfer market.
