One of Bayern Munich’s best players in recent years and a two-time scorer against Real Madrid could make a move to Barcelona.
Quique Setien does not seem to be on the same wavelength as the Barcelona board in terms of signing, but he too has a respectable and more realistic vision with respect to the same. The former Real Betis manager has been reluctant in talking about the conventional targets such as Lautaro Martinez or Neymar, however, he wants defensive refurbishments at the Camp Nou.

Barca’s problems on the right-back position have been unrelenting since Dani Alves departed in 2016 and Luis Enrique, Ernesto Valverde and the current manager have all had to deal with it. This summer, it’s high time that the club invests on signing a quality full-back and players like Adama Traore, Ricardo Pereira, Joao Cancelo and Joshua Kimmich have been linked.
Don Balon has tipped Bayern Munich’s versatile superstar and Germany international to make a move to Spain in the summer. Kimmich has a contract with the Bavarians that is valid until the summer of 2023, however, the player may be open to leaving the club earlier after five illustrious years at the Allianz Arena where he won every domestic honour.
Joshua Kimmich’s value is expected to be around 65 million euros and that was initially a price tag that made Barcelona only a distant monitor of the player’s situation. Nonetheless, it has been said that the Bundesliga giants could be compelled into selling their man for cheaper in case he wishes to leave, with a price of 40 million euros being banded.
The 25-year-old has a mix of experience and longevity under his belt and that will be a major asset for Barca. Kimmich is criminally underrated and as a matter of fact, his multidimensional gameplay will also Quique Setien in easing some pressure off Sergio Busquets who has been playing as a defensive midfielder without backup for as long as recent memory can suggest.
