Juventus’s French midfielder, Adrien Rabiot regrets signing for the Italian giants and has reportedly offered himself to Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Along with Antoine Griezmann, Adrien Rabiot was also the centre of attention in the summer transfer market of 2019. The former Paris Saint-Germain man chose to join forces with Cristiano Ronaldo in the city of Turin, although he had offers from Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona and Tottenham.

The Old Lady of Turin pulled off another free transfer and now the Italians are the best in the market to draw free agents to sign for them after signing Paul Pogba, Andrea Pirlo, Aaron Ramsey, Kingsley Coman and now Adrien Rabiot.

The 25-year-old French midfielder opted for Juventus over Real Madrid and Barcelona because the Italian giants were willing to offer the former Paris Saint-Germain man the salary he demanded and an important role in the heavily congested midfield that includes Miralem Pjanic, Sami Khedira, Blaise Matuidi, and former Arsenal legend, Aaron Ramsey.

The 25-year-old highly rated prospective French midfielder had 11 starts for the Bianconeri in the Serie A and still has not managed to find the net or set a teammate up with an assist, the player also has an average rating of 6.77, which is quite a poor rating given the quality of the player and the expectations that the club has set for him.

Maurizio Sarri believes that the midfielder has not yet lived up to the expectations despite the opportunities provided to make a mark.

The report also claims that the midfielder has not adapted well in Italy and does not seem to be happy with the decision he made last summer, however, Juventus still believe that the player would reach his potential next season and meet the benchmark set for him.

However, the Bianconeri are also open to letting the young player leave for 50 million euros, and given the current market situation due to the pandemic, it is highly unlikely that any club would be willing to shell out 50 million euros for Adrien Rabiot.

Don Balon claims that the player repents his decision and has offered himself to Barcelona and Real Madrid. The Catalans have already considered selling Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic, Adrien Rabiot could act as a replacement for either of the two players due to his immense versatility in the midfield.

The problem for Barcelona would be the price tag that Juventus demand for their French midfielder, the Catalans are already on a tight budget and they possibly could not spend 50 million euros on Rabiot.

What is your opinion on Adrien Rabiot? Should Barca consider him or should they turn his offer down due to the heavy price tag and look for a replacement from the youth team instead?
