Barcelona continues to chase massive signings for this summer but already have 11 players who could be great additions to the existing squad.

The effect of the COVID-19 crisis can be financially felt by all clubs in Europe with Barcelona being no exception. All the clubs know that the next summer transfer window will witness more transfer by the means of player exchange rather than the usual cash flow.

Knowing this, Barca must plan their future spending and transfer negotiations, especially considering they have eleven players spread across the continent that are available to either be loaned, sold, or even included in Quique Setien‘s plan.

There are currently 10 footballers that are loaned out.

Philippe Coutinho (Age: 27 | Bayern Munich)

Barca got a huge blow when Bayern Munich refused the option to sign Coutinho permanently for 120 million euros. The midfielder will return to Camp Nou as his current contract runs until 2023. The club have transfer-listed the former Liverpool star as he has shown the desire to make a return to the Premier League but any suitable buyer must be willing to pay the 100 million euro that is outstanding to Liverpool.

Jean-Clair Todibo (Age: 20 | Schalke 04)

Todibo has displayed some great performances for Schalke this season and the Bundesliga side are contemplating the purchase option currently attached to the loan deal. Barca are asking for 25 million euro, a reasonable amount for the talented centre-back, but the financial crisis faced by the German side due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has made this option inaccessible.
