Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, has identified seven players that, according to him, need to be removed this summer.

Barcelona currently has 10 players loaned out with the club facing the inevitable issue of hosting most of the players that will return in the summer, especially as Quique Setien does not see them in his plans.

The Spanish side must secure a destination elsewhere either on loan or perhaps even use them to secure transfer targets in an exchange deal. Neymar Jr. and Lautaro Martinez together would cost around 200 million euros, an amount Barca simply cannot afford.

Don Balon reports that the club president has identified seven players that he wishes to send out on loan or sell this summer.

Juan Miranda joined Bundesliga side, Schalke 04, in high hopes of securing regular minutes but has struggled to find his place. The Spaniard is interested in returning to the Nou Camp but has made it clear that he would only want to stay if he has a regular role in Quique Setien’s squad.

Another Barca player loaned to Schalke is Jean-Clair Todibowho has shown immense talent as a center back. The German club have a purchase option at the end of the loan spell that would cost them 25 million euros.
