Barcelona has the upper hand over Real Madrid to sign Ferran Torres in the coming years as the player prefers playing in the Camp Nou.
At the start of the 2019-20 season, Ferran Torres of Valencia was wanted by both Real Madrid and Barcelona, however, the Los Ches player decided to continue playing in the Mestalla Stadium and has shown the world his true potential this season.

The Los Ches player is extremely fast on the ball and has the ability to change pace when pressed by the opposition to find out a way out with the ball on his feet, his ability to dribble and take on defenders has helped him to cut in from the wings and take a shot on goal as well. Apart from his technical skills and creativity, the Spanish wonder uses his physical conditioning to cover huge runs up and down the flank and to act as an aerial threat during set-pieces due to his height. His style of play has caught the eyes of several clubs and has helped him cement a crucial role under Albert Celades.
Although Valencia has not performed their best this season, it did not stop Ferran Torres from taking on the pressure of covering up the irregular performances by Goncalo Guedes and the rest of the forwards, the Spanish winger replaced the Portuguese and since then has scored six goals and seven assists.
However, his rapid progression has caused the fans at the Mestalla Stadium to worry since the Spanish winger is tied down to the club till 2021 and several topflight clubs are already eagerly waiting to sign the young sensation.
If the Los Ches do not want to lose out on their future superstar on a free transfer then contract renewal for Ferran Torres should be on the cards of the Valencia board.
Don Balon claims that the board at Valencia are aware that they will eventually lose their superstar to the elite clubs, however, they cannot afford to lose the player for free and have decided that they would not accept a bid less than 50 million euros for the Spanish winger.
Florentino Perez of Real Madrid is an avid admirer of the Valencia man and recently the president of Los Blancos has focused on signing younger players to build a sustainable future. Florentino Perez has already signed a few promising talents such as Luka Jovic, Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior, Eder Militao, and Reinier.
Barcelona also considers Ferran Torres as a possible prospect to replace Ousmane Dembele who has been a massive let down and both the players share the same position as well.
However, Borussia Dortmund has also entered the race to sign the Spanish wonderkid as a replacement for Jadon Sancho who might leave in the coming summer transfer market. Although Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund want to sign Ferran Torres, the Valencia man has had his say and has opted to sign for Barcelona out of the three if the opportunity ever comes his way.
If the Blaugrana do manage to land the promising Spanish talent then Ousmane Dembele would have to either leave the club or fight for a spot in the starting eleven.
