Real Madrid and Barcelona are set for another Luis Figo transfer saga after Quique Setien has demanded the signing of a Real Madrid player.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have dominated Spanish and European football ever since its inception, quite a few times both the global giants have clashed over signing the same players, however, though the rivalry between both the club is as bitter as it gets, there have been a few players who have not shied away from snitching and switching. Now, it seems like there is another betrayal on the cards.

Barca have lost out on quite a few gems who switched to their bitter rivals Real Madrid, some of the players who snubbed the Blaugrana jersey were – Ronaldo, Michael Laudrup, who fell out with Johan Cruyff and helped the Los Blancos win their first league title after five years and the infamous Luis Figo who was dubbed as Judas by the fans in the Camp Nou.
However, this time fortune favours the Catalans over the Merengues, as Barcelona considers signing the UEFA Under 21 player of the competition from Real Madrid.

The former Real Betis man hit the ground running in the Premier League and seemed like the fans at the Emirates Stadium found their replacement for Aaron Ramsey who left on a free transfer to Juventus. He was also handed the man of the match for his exemplary performances against Burnley, it was the midfielders first start as a Gunner, and he managed to add two assists to his name.
The season is more or less done and it is time for the former Real Betis man to return to his parent club once again, however, Zinedine Zidane and Dani Ceballos do not get along well and the midfielder has already considered leaving the club before he can even return.
Don Balon claims that 23-year-old midfielder was extremely hesitant before he signed his six-year contract with the Los Blancos and that he turned down Barcelona’s offer because they wanted him to continue at Real Betis for another season before signing a five-year-long deal, the Spanish midfielder was hasty with his decision and now he finds himself in a difficult situation.
Claims states that Quique Setien has considered signing the Real Madrid man, as he believes that he is creativity and technical skills would uplift the midfield and ease of the pressure off Lionel Messi to drop back and help in the build-up to unlock the opposition backline.
The board at the Catalan club is aware that Zidane is not a fan of the player and the Spanish footballer himself does not fancy being under the guidance of the Frenchman either.
Barcelona prepares to offer 50 million euros to their arch-rivals for Dani Ceballos, it all depends if Real Madrid wants to part ways with their highly-rated midfielder.
If Florentino Perez is willing to take the risk to let Ceballos mature at Barcelona into the world-class player he can become, the Spain international and Zinedine Zidane would be dubbed as the new Judas.
