The Blaugrana have been on the hunt for a quality striker in order to replace Luis Suarez. Unfortunately, they have sustained a major blow in landing one of their top targets.
As per Sempre Inter, Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez has shown absolutely no interest in forcing a move to the Camp Nou should the negotiations fail. With Barcelona’s war-chest staring at one of the all-time lows, this certainly comes as a blow to them.

The 22-year-old has a release clause of 111 million euros next to his name but the Nerazzurri have recognised the fact that if they want to have a shot at getting something out of a potential deal involving Martinez, they ought to opt for a cash plus player deal.
As far the La Liga leaders are concerned, it is believed that they can go as high as 60 million euros in addition to a few players. Out of the players involved, it is more or less confirmed that Arturo Vidal has been included in the deal and barring him, the Serie A giants aren’t exactly happy about the others involved.
The Catalan giants need to recognise the fact that they need to act quick if they are to land a young superstar in order to replace Suarez. Martinez is one of the best strikers going around at the moment and there is potential for Barcelona to do well in the upcoming negotiations.
They could choose to include the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho who were failed experiments and not to forget, it will make the deal a lot more enticing. However, on realistic grounds, including both of the quality forwards seems a long-shot but the addition of either of them automatically increases the worth of the deal to greater than 111 million euros, assuming that Barca will pay 60 million in cash.
