Barcelona’s next president promises the arrival of Kylian Mbappe
Real Madrid is set to face stiff competition to sign Kylian Mbappe from Barcelona as Victor Font promises to sign the French forward.
The board at Barcelona is set for elections in the summer of 2021 and a Victor Font, a possible candidate who could become the heir to Josep Maria Bartomeu has prioritised Kylian Mbappe as his star signing, according to El Desmarque.

The prospective president of Barca opted for Kylian Mbappe over Neymar as he believes that the player is a lot more creative and focused on football rather than the Brazilian who is also popular for his endeavors outside the football pitch.
The French forward has been a long term target of Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane as the duo admire the quality that the 21- year-old possess and the Los Blancos consider the recently crowned 3-time league champion and top scorer of the Ligue 1 as the possible replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, although Victor Font is confident in signing his star marquee player from Paris, Florentino Perez has been working on the possible signing for Kylian Mbappe for the past few seasons. The Real Madrid president hopes that the French forward does not extend his contract with PSG that is set to expire in the summer of 2022 so that they could procure his services by either 2021 or 2022 as a free agent.
The Los Blancos also have an upper hand, since the Ligue 1 champions share a better relationship than Blaugrana’s that share a strained relationship that was severely hampered after the Neymar move in the summer of 2017. Not only does Florentino Perez share a good relationship with the Parisian club, but Kylian Mbappe himself also adores Real Madrid and the French forward dreamed of playing at Real Madrid someday due to his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.
To make matters worse, Florentino Perez has been pushing the transfer forward as the club is desperate to land the 21-year-old forward and Real Madrid are willing to offer PSG 200 million euros for the talismanic striker.
This season Kylian Mbappe has scored 30 goals in 33 appearances for the Parisian team and if Victor Font actually wants to fulfill his wishes, he must act efficiently if he is to become the president of Barcelona before he loses his star signing to arch-rivals Real Madrid.
