Barcelona’s primary transfer targets in the upcoming transfer window are Lautaro Martinez and Neymar. The Spanish giants have also shown interest in signing other attacking alternatives who would cause a lesser financial strain on the club’s transfer budget.
One such player who has been on the radar of Barcelona is Leroy Sane as the 24-year-old Germany international has been rumoured to leave the Manchester City in the summer transfer window and return back to the Bundesliga.
Bayern Munich have shown a lot of desire to sign the German winger in the upcoming season and have reserved the number 10 shirt which is currently worn by Philippe Coutinho for the young winger as stated by the Mirror. Sane might consider this move as Manchester City have been banned from playing the Champions League over the next few seasons, a competition which no excellent player like him would want to lose on.
Even though Sane has been injured for the entire season he has an estimated market value of 80 million euros.
The La Liga giants must try and lure the former Schalke superstar away from the Allianz Arena. This is because the outbreak of the coronavirus has put a lot of financial strain on the club which has made it tough to sign the expensive duo of Lautaro Martinez and Neymar.
Quique Setien should try and offer Manchester City players such as Ivan Rakitic, Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti and Arturo Vidal to sign the young German winger.
If Barcelona fail to sign Leroy Sane, they must use their transfer budget to sign other alternatives such as Jadon Sancho and Serge Gnabry who have been in outstanding form for their sides this season and provide similar width and strengths as the Citizen.
