Barcelona target Manchester United’s superstar to replace Semedo
Unlike ReaL Madrid who shares a deep history with Manchester United as both the clubs have shared world-class players over the years and the Los Blancos famously even offered Alfredo di Stefano to the Red Devils after the Munich disaster, however, Barcelona now plan on strengthening their bond with the Premier League giants.

The Catalan team has reportedly targetted Manchester United’s Aaron-Wan-Bissaka who has taken the league by a storm in his debut season with the Red Devils and has shown his worth against Manchester City in both the ties by nullifying Raheem Sterling‘s threat on the wings.
The board at Barca considers the former Crystal Palace footballer to be the replacement for Nelson Semedo who is wanted by Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich, according to Forbes. The uncertainty regarding the future of the Portuguese right-back continues as the player has grown tired that despite displaying consistent performances for the Blaugrana, Sergi Roberto generally gets the start in crucial matches which seems to be unfair for the former Benfica man.
However, if Barcelona convinces Nelson Semedo to stay for another season and assure the player that he would be the undisputed starter for the season then it would benefit the Catalan team to make the big move to sign Wan-Bissaka in the summer of 2021.
Nelson Semedo’s contract expires in the summer of 2022 which means that Josep Maria Bartomeu could consider to cash in on his player a season earlier in the summer of 2021 by offering the player to either PSG or Manchester City who are desperate to sign the full-back and are willing to pay a hefty price.
If the former Benfica man in the summer of 2021, the Catalans could then bank on the opportunity to sign Aaron-Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United given that the Blaugrana would have to offer a lot more than his current 55 million transfer market value since the 22-year-old has shown the potential of a world-class footballer.
