Juventus have given an unfair ultimatum to Barcelona amid negotiations.

The ongoing transfer negotiations between Juventus and Barcelona have involved multiple players from both sides being linked with a move. Miralem Pjanic is a wanted man in Catalan with the Italian giants looking to sign Arthur Melo in exchange.

The Brazilian midfielder, however, is not interested in moving to Turin this summer which has caused some issues for the two sides preventing an agreement that would benefit both. The Spanish giants are surprisingly indifferent about the sale of their star midfielder who had been predicted to become a regular at Barca for years to come.

The club finds that Arthur has not performed as expected in the two years he has had at the club, with injuries troubling his development. Internal reports have claimed that the Brazilian international will not have an easy time establishing himself as a regular which has opened the idea of selling him when his value is at its peak.

Arthur has clearly rejected the option which forced Barca to involve their other players who are open to a move, like Jean-Clair Todibo or Junior Firpo, but the Serie A giants deem Pjanic as a high profile and want a player of a similar caliber in exchange.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via Sport) reports that Juventus want Ansu Fati instead as the youngster, at just 17 years of age, has established himself as someone with the potential of becoming one of the best.

The negotiations currently depend on which of these two players, Ansu Fati or Arthur Melo, Barca are willing to offer in exchange of Miralem Pjanic and Mattia De Sciglio.
