Neymar was the last player who could’ve snitched on Barcelona.
Barcelona are desperate to try and sign a winger this summer despite their financial issues. Neymar is their primary target and despite being an unrealistic one considering his price, the Catalans are hopeful of landing their former player and keeping Lionel Messi happy, a year before his contract at the club expires.

Having said that, Lautaro Martinez still continues to be the first choice between the two South Americans for the Blaugrana and should the Inter Milan man arrive, there’s no chance that the Brazilian would, rationally speaking. In a major development lately, the winger is all set to ditch his former club and head to Juventus, as per Don Balon.
Juventus have not been glorious on the European front since a couple of years and one of their notable attempts in the recent past was notably thwarted by Barca themselves. Maurizio Sarri is on a mission to lead the Bianconeri back to the summit of Europe after a very long time and has identified some players to strengthen his squad.
Juventus ready to make sacrifices to land their latest target
Neymar is one of them and it looks like he is willing to sacrifice Paulo Dybala to land the 28 year old. Dybala was an outcast in Massimiliano Allegri’s last campaign but has risen back to prominence under the former Chelsea manager. However, Paris Saint-Germain will be interested in bringing him in and sacrifice their record-signing, who has been a burden in some cases.
As a matter of fact, the player himself seems ready to switch pastures for Turin and play with Cristiano Ronaldo, to potentially dominate another league and achieve continental success. What Juventus can offer him at this point in time is more money than the La Liga leaders and that’s exactly what Neymar is looking for.
With Barca being desperate to land their ex-player and Neymar himself showing despair over returning to the Camp Nou ideally meant that this reunion would complete and it were only a matter of time. However, should he seal a move to Italy, the Brazilian would’ve once again shown that his desire is for money, something that the club can’t offer him now.
Losing out on their chief target in such a case may be a blessing in disguise for the Catalans in all honesty and they’d much rather go for someone like Jadon Sancho or Raheem Sterling. But the biggest hurdle in the club’s way is satisfying Lionel Messi into signing a contract extension because the Argentine was longing for a second get-together with his friend.
Who are your alternatives for the Paris Saint-Germain forward if a move for him fails?
