Liverpool have been heavily linked to sign a player who used to play at Barcelona, Adama Traore who has showcased great growth playing for Middlesbrough and Wolves over the past few seasons and has found himself on the radar of many European club.
However, as of now Wolves have not received any transfer offer for young Spaniard who has an estimated market value of around 30 million Euros. According to the Express , Traore’s Ex-manager Tony Pulis who managed Middlesbrough from 2017 to 2019 has passed a statement in which he has stated that the Spaniard is currently focusing on trying to play international football at this stage in his career and has no other moves planned for his future as things stand.
Tony further added that he believes that Traore needs to stay at Wolves as the club gives him a lot of importance and is helping him play football on a regular basis.
To the contrary, many experts believe that the Spaniard should leave Wolves and join a bigger club over the next few transfer windows in order contests for titles and qualifies for the Champions League on a more regular basis. By doing so Traore will improve his capabilities by playing alongside better players and intern improve his chances of playing for his country.
The 2018-2019 La Liga champions, are struggling to gather sufficient funds to sign Neymar and Lautaro Martinez.
Quique Setien could opt to sign Adama Traore as a cheaper offensive alternative in place of signing the expensive pair in the upcoming transfer window. The 24-year-old Spaniard is one of the fastest players in the Premier League who possess great dribbling and passing abilities which will suite the Spanish league and intern add value to the attacks of the Spanish giants.
If Barcelona succeed in signing Traore as an alternative the club will posses sufficient funds to sign replacements for other players such as Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal, Junior Firpo, Philippe Coutinho and Samuel Umtiti who are set to leave the Camp Nou in the upcoming transfer window.
Do you think Barcelona should sign Adama Traore in the upcoming transfer window?
