Barcelona offer their superstar signing for a shocking discounted rate
Barcelona reduces their price on their marquee signing.
The financial position of Barcelona goes from bad to worse as the awaited summer transfer market approaches. The Blaugrana have big plans for the summer by signing a few superstars, however, La Liga’s president Javier Tebas thinks otherwise as most clubs will not having the financial power to fund huge transfers. However, Javier Tebas is not wrong and the board at Barca is willing to sell unwanted players at the club as a means of raising funds for the summer.

Philippe Coutinho is the only shot Barcelona has!
The former Liverpool man has been a massive flop signing and would go down in the history books of the Camp Nou along with Ousmane Dembele as the worst ever signing by Barca. Bartomeu during his tenure has made a few hysterical signings and several flop signings as well, however, no one expected the Brazilian forward to crumble this poorly in Spain.
Given the current circumstances that prevail at the Catalan club, the Metro claims that Barcelona are willing to let their most expensive signing leave Spain for Arsenal this summer on a 10 million Pounds loan provided the Gunners meet his hefty weekly wage.
Unfortunately, Mikel Arteta has turned down the deal as the player’s wages would be an unnecessary burden for the English club. Josep Maria Bartomeu has reportedly sent a revised counter offer to Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United. The revised counter offer states that the current La Liga leaders are willing to pay a fair amount of Coutinho’s salary provided the club pays 10 million pounds for the loan move.
It seems like the board at the Camp Nou have opted to continue their agenda for the summer by hook or by crook. Lautaro Martinez remains to be the club’s top priority meanwhile the club is also in search of replacements for Jordi Alba and Nelson Semedo.
What do you make of Josep Maria Bartomeu’s revised offer to sell Philippe Coutinho?
