Barcelona and Real Madrid sulk as their Premier League target fumbles

Arsenal’s golden signing Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has been heavily linked to a move to the Camp Nou and the Santiago Bernabeu this season, however, the Blaugrana’s considered the African striker as a second choice to Lautaro Martinez.
Unfortunately, given the current financial circumstances that Barca face, the signing of the striker from Inter Milan seems to be highly unlikely and the only two other options that were shortlisted by the board were Timo Werner and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
Timo Werner is no longer a valid option since the German striker has already agreed to personal terms with Chelsea, which leaves the Arsenal striker as the last resort.
Will Aubameyang go to Barca
Would the Arsenal man sign for Barca this summer? certainly not, the striker hopes to run his contract out in London that is set to expire in the summer of 2021.
Would Aubmeyang switch to the Camp Nou in the summer of 2021? the Mirror claims that Mikel Arteta would be willing to offer the then 32-year-old striker an extension, however, former Arsenal legend Ian Wright stated that if he does consider leaving England would any other team provide him a contract as favourable as the Gunners given his age?
Barcelona would certainly not provide Aubameyang a lucrative contract in the summer of 2021 since the club would have possibly have signed Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan and would no longer require the services of the 32-year-old.
