Juventus: Salary Dispute

Nelson Semedo was closely linked with a move to Juventus as the ongoing negotiations for two  Juventus players, Miralem Pjanic and Mattia di Sciglio, also involved multiple Barca players moving the opposite direction. The Serie A champions are in the market for a new right-back and have agreed to involve De Sciglio to fill for Semedo. Despite the two clubs nearing an agreement, Juve failed to offer Semedo his desired salary which made the deal impossible. Reportedly the offered salary was similar to his current deal at Camp Nou which the Portuguese international has already rejected which resulted in the failure of his contract renewal.
