Barcelona add another player to their list of hysterical signings
The misery at Barcelona continues after they dropped points against Sevilla in a goalless draw that Real Madrid capitalised on by securing all three points against Real Sociedad at the Anoeta Stadium. The Los Blancos now top the table despite Barca having a better goal difference since Real Madrid have a better head to head comparisons against Barca this season after winning 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The misery just does not end there for the Catalan club as reports from the Eldes marque claim that the negotiations between Barca and Juventus over the swap deal including Arthur Melo and Miralem Pjanic have now entered the final phase. The report also claims that the Juventus man would sign for the Blaugrana before the 30th of June.
Is Pjanic another hysterical signing?
Miralem Pjanic is certainly on his best days one of the best midfielders, however, the Turin man is 30-years-old and Quique Setien certainly does not require more senior aged players in his veteran filled squad.
Having said that, Miralem Pjanic’s arrival at the Camp Nou would see Arthur Melo moving to Juventus. Although the Brazilian midfielder may not be the most consistent performer at Barca, he still possesses the quality to lead the midfield all by himself on his best day.
Josep Maria Bartomeu and his board have certainly made several flop signings over the years, so much so that list is never-ending. Miralem Pjanic would unfortunately most likely be the next hysterical unwanted signing. The midfield at Barca already has three 30+ midfielders and the arrival of another 30-year-old midfielder is certainly not required.
What do you make of the swap deal? Would you want to see Pjanic sign for Barca and Arthur Melo switch to Juventus?
