Barcelona prepare another grand departure after Arthur’s deal to Juventus

The fans of Barcelona are still in shock after Sky Sports confirmed that Juventus have agreed to an 80 million euro transfer deal for Arthur Melo and rumours claim that the Italian giants are willing to offer the Brazilian midfielder a five-year contract along that would see the player earn 5 million euros annually.

More from Everything Barca

The deal would see Arthur Melo join Cristiano Ronaldo and co at Juventus and Miralem Pjanic would join Lionel Messi and co at Barca. Although the deal might be another foolish move, however, the money used for Arthur Melo could be used to sign Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan for 111 million euros. However, the efforts to raise cash to sign Lautaro Martinez just does not stop with the departure of Arthur Melo.

Next in the line is Neto of Barcelona

The Blaugrana have demanded a figure worth 20 million euros from Arsenal who are in a dire need of a first-choice goalkeeper after Bernd Leno was heavily injured in the Gunners humiliating defeat against Brighton, according to the Metro.

Neto Murara signed for Barca this season from Valencia for a figure of around 35 million euros and since then has played just one game. The lack of game time and the sheer lack of trust shown by the management at the Camp Nou might see Neto actually move to the Gunners where the Brazilian would get sufficient game-time since Leno is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.

With the possible departures of Arthur Melo and Neto Murara, Barca would accumulate 100 million euros which would be used to sign Lautaro Martinez to replace Luis Suarez who seems to be rustier than ever since the league has resumed once again. What do you think of these two grand departures? Is it actually worth it to sign Lautaro Martinez by selling two players?
