Barcelona have decided against extending contracts for many players in their squad such as Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic in order to give a chance to the younger players in the squad to establish themselves at the Camp Nou.

The Spanish giants have also been heavily linked to sign many budding players such as Sandro Tonali, Fabian Ruiz and Eduardo Camavinga who are on the track to become exceptional players in the future. However due to a strained transfer budget they haven’t been able to sign any of these players and are currently trying to sign a world-class defender to replace Samuel Umtiti who is set to leave the Camp Nou over the summer as well as Neymar and Lautaro Martinez in the upcoming transfer window.
