Lionel Messi dubs Neymar’s actions as treachery towards Barcelona

Neymar’s actions have not been taken lightly by Barcelona

Barcelona has realistically lost the 2019/20 La Liga Santander to Real Madrid as the Los Blancos prepare to travel to Granada in what could be described as an easy fixture for Zinedine Zidane and his men.

However, the former Barca winger’s recent behaviour has not been taken well by the club after the Brazilian was spotted on his Instagram celebrating a goal scored by Real Madrid’s prolific goalscorer, Karim Benzema, according to Diaro GOL. The video sparked immediate reaction all over Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and all other media platforms within seconds since it was published.

The Brazilian has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid for a quite a long time since he left the Camp Nou in the summer of 2017. Before the Los Blancos had signed Eden Hazard as the replacement left-winger for Cristiano Ronaldo, many reports had stated that Real had shown serious interest in signing Neymar.

The report also states that Lionel Messi has in particular not taken his actions lightly since the Argentine has urged the board for over two seasons to sign the former winger.

Although Neymar probably meant no harm by celebrating a goal of his former club’s arch-rival and posting it on social media, however, athlete’s must take into consideration what they post on a public platform as Barcelona had released their debutant signing, Sergi Guardiola, after finding a history of offensive tweets on his twitter handle.
