David Alaba

The Austrian defender has entered the final year of his trophy-laden career at Bayern Munich. David Alaba has just one more year left on his contract, however, the versatile defender has demanded a massive increment in his salary that the Bavarian board has decided to turn down and has permitted Alaba to leave this summer for a decent fee.

The 29-year-old defender would fit like a glove at both Barcelona and Manchester City due to his technical skillset. Unlike a traditional full-back, Alaba has the capability to shift into the midfield while attacking to provide stability to the midfield, or the full-back can also act as an out and out winger down the flanks due to his pace, finesse touch and dribbling skills.

David Alaba can play as a centre-back, left-winger, midfielder, and as a left-back and is reportedly up for grabs for just 35-40 million euros.

Lautaro Martinez

Lautaro Martinez has earned a name for himself this season after forming a lethal partnership with Romelu Lukaku. The Argentine forward has had a stellar season so far under former Juventus boss Antonio Conte, Martinez has now scored 18 goals in 39 appearances for the Serie A side.

The Catalans of Barcelona consider the Argentine forward to be the ideal replacement for Luis Suarez who has struggled all season long due to injuries and age catching up. Pep Guardiola also considers the Inter Milan ace to replace Sergio Aguero at Manchester City as Pep does not believe in Gabriel Jesus to lead the line in the attack.

Martinez’s 111 million euros release clause has reportedly expired on the 8th of July and the player is now available for a reduced figure that is rumoured to be around 90 million euros.
